World-renowned electric violinist joins me for a chat Tuesday, as we reminisce about hilarious and heart-warming gigs over the years. Aaron is a champion for music education and cultural enrichment, and has brightened the lives of countless people all over the world. Join us as we connect and share some laughs, live!
In keeping with my method of sharing my ultra-creative friends and family, this conversation will be no exception. Anthony Gainer (known by some as “DJ Atrane”), is Co-Owner/Creative Director at Ink Well Project, proving his qualities as a gifted director and filmmaker. His recent short film “A Good Man” is an acclaimed award-winner, and his resumé boasts America’s Got Talent, NBC, FOX, ABC and Disney as clients. Beyond that, Anthony and I had our early starts together gigging throughout the West coast as members of Columbia Records’ “Craving Theo”. There’s some fun stuff to catch up on, and you’ll get to weigh in, live!
OK, 80s movie fans: I KNOW you fell in love with “Beth”, the hottie that broke John Cusack’s heart in “Better Off Dead”. Or maybe you horror fans remember Amanda being the first person ever to be murdered by Freddy Krueger onscreen. Well, Amanda Wyss has a wide range of film and TV roles, and is one of the most sought-after 80s movie queens to make the celebrity fan circuit. We first met at 80s In the Sand in the Dominican Republic, and shared some great laughs. We had technical issues pairing Zoom with the All Access Live page on Facebook, so this episode recorded and was archived on YouTube. Here’s Amanda and her beautiful spirit!
My brother on- and offstage for over 15 years in Animotion, Bill Wadhams taught me the ropes about touring stadiums, fairs and casinos with grace. I love this man. He’s worn many hats in the 2 decades that I’ve known him – music producer, musical theater actor, composer, guitarist, singer, and most important to me: friend. Come spend time with the Renaissance Man and me, live!
Currently residing in Bangkok, Thailand, Keith performs with his blues band Cotton Mouth, Deni Hines and produces music for TV commercials, Documentaries, and TV shows. He also records sessions with other artists and runs his music streaming music service. Over his career, Keith performed with Steven Seagal, Zakiya Hooker (Daughter of John Lee Hooker), Deni Hines, Gloria Gaynor and Cotton Mouth blues band. I was blessed to rock with Keith in Bangkok last year, and felt a connection to this Irish visionary.
“I Wanna Be a Cowboy” may be Nick’s best-known hit, but he’s got quite an extensive connection to the recording industry. We’ll talk abut his Maison Rouge studio in London, maintaining a healthy family amidst the rock & roll lifestyle, and the rebirth of Boys Don’t Cry as the 80s have made a resurgence!
Murray is one of those tireless dynamos that can handle anything thrown at him in the music world. A booking agent/manager with more bands in his arsenal than would seem possible, Murray Mcvay and Jason Fellman have joined forces in music booking with Mur-Man Productions and J-Fell Presents, and now Sterling Talent. Murray also actively runs the Your-NewLife-Recovery program that has inspired many rock stars on- and offstage to find a new way to live without the influence of drugs and alcohol.
In the mid- to late-80s, a band from Billings, Montana changed my life. I’d sneak into the bars and sit with the sound engineers to watch in awe as this phenomenal band brought ridiculously brilliant originals and impeccable covers of the greatest rock and roll songs to a sleepy little Montana college town. They left The Cat’s Paw in shambles, every girl in town panting, every local musician wishing they were a part of something so magical. Over 35 years later, I’ve got them ALL together for a live reunion (well, chat)! Come hang out with Chris Fahnlander, Art Eichele, Frank Wilson, Bryan Oakley and James Sloan live!

When it comes to finding a world-class engineer and producer, you won’t find one better than Grammy Award-winner Chuck Alkazian. He’s worked with countless artists including Madonna, Soundgarden, Eminem and so many more! My pal Mike Skill introduced us a few years ago in Detroit, and I knew right then that I wanted Chuck in my world. His heart is strong, his spirit pure. I can’t wait to share him with you all on Monday, 3pm Pacific!
