Performing professionally since 16, Kevin began honing his skills in the ski resort bars of Montana. He spent several nights a week in smoky taverns, learning the ropes of the live music business. Maintaining that schedule through college, Kevin also recorded and performed with dozens of bands, and received his BS in Sociology with a Music Studio Teaching option minor at Montana State University.

Moving from Bozeman, MT to Portland, OR in 1994, Kevin found a solid base of music performance and touring in the Northwest U.S.. He has been a member of, and has performed/toured with a series of internationally successful bands, including guitar phenom Jennifer Batten, Eddie Martinez, Missing Persons, Nu Shooz, Tommy Tutone, and Mike Skill (The Romantics).

From 2002-2017, Kevin held down the drum chair for the 80s pop sensation band Animotion, best known for their hits “Obsession” and “Room to Move”. In 2016, Kevin joined the 80s powerhouse A Flock of Seagulls, and continues to tour the world with them. On October 8, 2022, Kevin was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall Of Fame.
