One of my favorite bucket list items to cross off, I made my first tandem skydive at Skydive Oregon, celebrating my friend Dani Rexine’s birthday. Can’t wait to do that again!

A Flock of Seagulls will perform for free at the game’s after-party, held in Armory Park. The Liverpool, England-based band was one of the most popular bands of the new wave era. Their hit “I Ran (So Far Away)” was one of the decade’s most iconic songs — so, too, was singer Mike Score’s unique, long-in-the-front hairstyle.

A Flock of Seagulls is the second well-known band to play in a bowl-sponsored event that day. Neon Trees will play the game’s tailgate party on the UA mall before the game.
New Mexico State and Utah State will kick off at 3:30 p.m. at Arizona Stadium. The Arizona Bowl will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Harefest 2017 was once again, absolutely off the hook! Jason Fellman and Joan Monen brought the finest rock tributes to Pat’s Acres in Canby, OR for 2 full days and nights of all-out festival madness. I performed with Shoot to Thrill again this year, and was floored by the professionalism and attention to detail so many bands tackled. This year’s lineups included:
Can’t wait for this one… not only do we return to Chicago, one of my favorite cities, but we rejoin B-52s and our friends The Romantics. Mike Skill, guitarist from The Romantics and I have done some really cool music projects in the past, and may end up releasing some of the stuff we recorded a few years ago. In the meantime, get down to RibFest and Rock with A Flock!
